Oxford City Football Club has scored a fantastic goal in the world of sponsorship, signing the largest local radio group in the County, JACK Media Oxfordshire, as the Club’s official Media Partner for the 2021/22 season.

Comprising award-winning radio station JACKfm, JACK2 Hits and JACK3 Chill, JACK Media Oxfordshire becomes the official Media Partner of Oxford City FC, marking the start of an exciting partnership that aims to engage and resonate with people and communities across the county. Oxford City FC will share a range of exclusive content with the three radio stations, including interviews with players, staff and management, and special behind-the-scenes access, whilst JACKfm, JACK2 Hits and JACK3 Chill will also have a visible presence within the Club’s stadium and across all videos and graphics. The two businesses will also implement a range of initiatives and activities that will support the Oxfordshire community.

Demonstrating the impact that football can have within a community and amongst regional businesses, this marks one of the most high-profile sponsorship deals that has been made at Oxford City FC.

Commercial Director Mick Livesey said: “I can’t hide my delight about this deal, which supports both companies’ ambition to make an even bigger impact within the local community and throughout Oxfordshire. JACK Media Oxfordshire is an instantly recognisable business and brand, having created a portfolio of much-loved radio stations that includes JACKfm. They are not afraid to stand out in a crowd, constantly pushing the boundaries and creating standout marketing solutions, which greatly appeals to us.

“Together, we want to win over hearts and minds across the county, and to support the local community through a range of exciting initiatives and opportunities. We are going to have a lot of fun together and I am so excited to welcome JACK Media Oxfordshire into our business community.”

Caroline O’Connor, Business Development and Brand Partnerships Manager at JACK Media Oxfordshire, added: “We are so delighted to be partnering with Oxford City Football Club. Their focus and commitment to the Oxford community very much reflects our own and, in combining our energies, this provides an opportunity to vastly increase the level of reach and support that we will be able to offer to people across the county.”

The partnership kicks off in September 2021, in line with the 2021/22 football season. As a result of the partnership, JACK Media Oxfordshire’s radio stations, JACKfm, JACK2 Hits and JACK3 Chill, will also become the main sponsor of Oxford City FC’s Business Club, with other areas of the agreed package also including individual player sponsorship, match sponsorship and on-air ticket giveaways.
